We began our year with a magnificent hike in Olympic National Park, specifically at Lake Crescent—a place we visit annually to reaffirm our commitment to staying as close to nature as possible throughout the year. Throughout the year, I’ll share our favorite spots in Washington State, the place we call home and where we work.

In January, we shared some interesting facts about São Paulo with our social media followers. Dinner in São Paulo is typically between 8 and 9 PM, necessitating a snack around 4 to 5 PM. Often, this means enjoying a small coffee accompanied by grilled bread, as depicted in the accompanying picture.

Additionally, January offered us the fantastic opportunity to return to King5 Channel on The New Day Show NW. We discussed the influence of Portuguese culture on our cuisine and culture, highlighted by introducing the famous Portuguese soup, “Caldo Verde.” It’s always an honor to showcase Brazilian culture on television. Thank you, New Day!
